WHAT TO WEAR: Spring Break
happy spring break, lovers!
teach my feet to fly away
i’m sitting here, drinking my coffee out of my mom’s favorite Christmas mug, looking out at her little snow-covered lawn and listening to “river” by Joni. i keep thinking about how much has happened this year and how different i am from the person i was this time last year. i fell in love, got my heart broken a couple times, found out who my true friends were/are, made decisions that will affect the rest of my life, watched my parents separate, and grew a little courage. it’s funny when you look back and think about the things that you thought were so important at the time and how meaningless they are now. i can only hope that all the things that are troubling me right now won’t be worth a second glance in a couple years. i might not have my life right where i want it, but right now i’m just so grateful for my life and everyone in it, regardless of how imperfect it may be. this year, i vow to have fun with my life and care less about what people may think about me and how far from perfect i might be. this year is the year that i truly become who i want to be and i watch everything fall into place around me. cheers to a wonderful holiday with wonderful people!
